Two for Today

 

Nelson Mandela passed away today.  Our world becomes better because of people like him.  One person can make a difference, and every person should try.  This is the message I try to pass on to my kiddos all the time.  It can be big, or small, but just keep trying.  Tonight, read Nelson Mandela by the talented Kadir Nelson.

The second thing is a public thank you to a former student of mine.  I came home today, exhausted and dragging my feet.  I found a surprise package at the door and this inside:
