Spring is in the Air!

For the last two weeks I have been on Spring Break and jury duty.  It wasn't the extravagant vacation I would have liked to but it has been a vacation, nonetheless.  In the last two weeks I have managed to read a lot, which makes me happy.  It helps that I live in a place where most people go for vacation.  So even though there wasn't any travel, there has been lots of sun, warmth, and good books.

There is also a change to Alice, Ever After that I am thrilled to announce.  My good friend Mas, who you have heard about time and time again, has agreed to become my partner on Alice, Ever After!  As a lot of you know, she is my source for a lot of great book recommendations, author suggestions, and is my go-to person for geeking out about children's literature.  (The other day I swear I saw a children's book author walking in my 'hood and Mas was the first person I texted.) Mas and her amazing husband Walter also helped me come up with the concept of Alice, Ever After.  Not only are they brainstorming geniuses, Walter and Mas are also a part of a musical group called Walter and the Night Owls, because they are just that amazingly talented!
