Boogie Time!

I think we might be on to something!  I am, again, not heading out on the town tonight, mostly because I need to wake up early to run a race in the morning.  However, I am really liking finding cool dance videos to share with you!  This week, for multiple reasons, here are two videos from Kid President.  If you don't know about him yet...you are more than welcome!  Here are the reasons for this week's dance videos.

1.  I am running a 5K tomorrow, the Color Run, and could use a pep talk myself.
2.  I did a victory dance on Monday when Jon Klassen won two Caldecott Awards!  (THE award and an honor award.)
3.  I am showing these videos to my students next week to get ready for our own "signature project" in which we help the world become just a little more awesome.
4. This kid is the best.
5. The Super Bowl is this weekend and the Pep Talk video is very appropriate.  I will be watching the Super Bowl for the second time I can remember choosing to watch it.   (Being from Buffalo I am pretty sure it was a requirement since the Bills went a lot...we will stop there.)

So, Kid President is a youtube sensation.  His latest video has raked in over 6 million views by today, and he has a lot more videos than that.  As a way of introduction, here is the first:

So you can see why I like this guy.  This next video is the one that got me thinking, "This kid needs to be on Dance Friday."

 Then, this video sealed the deal.  The kid believes exactly what I believe about dancing.  The world WILL be better.
