Wake Up and Boogie!!

It is Saturday kids!  I'm heading out to the Eric Carle Museum to hang out with Oliver Jeffers.  He writes the best books, he is dreamy, and Mas's son is named after him.  So basically he is quite an important person.  I've wanted to meet him for years but always seem to miss him so I am pretty excited to get to see him. (He also did the art/writing this music video for U2.  Pretty spectacular.)

What should you do while I am making my dream come true?  That's right, dance!  This week my roomies and I were watching an overcoming-adversity-through-dance movie (my favorite genre of movie) and my roommate Geoff asked if people really had dance battles.  I was like, "WHATTT?!"  Of course they do!  Every year in San Diego there is this dance competition and I don't go but I always watch the videos to see who won.  My favorite, by far, is this dance crew Choreo Cookies (get it?) because they kill it on all levels.  We can't dance like they do, but we can ogle.  Check 'em out and then go watch all their other videos.
