A couple of months ago a friend read me this quote he found, "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." (Plato said this...maybe?)

Took a 3 hour stroll from my home in Somerville
across the Charles...

...all the way to the newly filled
pond at the Public Garden

On this anniversary of a tragic event in a city with so much pride and so much love, remember to be kind.  It is ok for people to be a part of remembering and it is ok for people to need space.  Be kind and be there.  To my home, my city, the place where my heart is... ((hug))
