Cool Things

It has been a tough couple of weeks over here in Buffalo. I've had a migraine for over two weeks and anytime I am not parenting, I've been taking care of myself. If I were working I would not have that time so I'm counting myself lucky but it has definitely put me behind on blog posts and other projects I'm working on. If things are going south for you too, hopefully these cool links will make you feel a bit better. 

Winner of the Caldecott!

All the winners from this year's ALA Youth Media awards. This year's Caldecott winner, Michaela Goade, made history by being the first Indigenous woman and the first BIPOC woman to win.

Love this list of 44 activities for kids in the winter that the pandemic hasn't ruined. 

Kate DiCamillo has A NEW BOOK coming in September. Last week, Mr. Schu had the honor of presenting the cover reveal. Between that and the Amanda Gorman book, September 2021 is looking pretty good.
